The jollof rice here is better than what I had at my own wedding! Smoky, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. This place is a gem for any Nigerian in Florida. I bring all my American friends here now.

First time trying Nigerian food and I am absolutely hooked. The gizdodo was incredible — spicy, tender, unlike anything I've had. The staff was so welcoming and helped me navigate the whole menu.

Taste of Lagos is the real deal. The egusi soup tastes just like home — my mother's recipe level. The portions are generous and the pricing is very fair. A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Nigerian cuisine.

I ordered the Friday Party Box for my husband's birthday and it was a massive hit! 15 people at the party and everyone was raving. The small chops platter disappeared in minutes. Will definitely order again!

Finally a Nigerian restaurant in Florida that knows what they're doing! The ayamase stew is to die for. Reminds me exactly of what I ate growing up in Ibadan. Thank you for keeping our culture alive.

Amazing food — the fish pepper soup was fragrant and deeply comforting. Only giving 4 stars because parking can be tight during peak hours. The food itself? Absolutely 5-star worthy.

I cried eating the banga soup. No exaggeration. It tasted exactly like my grandmother's recipe from Delta State. I didn't think I'd find anything like this in Florida. Taste of Lagos is a blessing.

My coworker brought in the jollof rice for a team lunch and now the whole office is obsessed. We placed a catering order for our next event — the staff was so helpful walking us through the options.

The suya here is no joke. Perfectly spiced, smoky, and they don't skimp on the meat. I drove 45 minutes from Brandon and it was 100% worth it. This is now my regular spot.

Ordered for my Nigerian husband's birthday dinner and he was speechless. Said it's the closest to Lagos food he's had since moving to the US. The pounded yam and egusi were perfection.

Real talk — the asun at Taste of Lagos is the best I've had outside Nigeria. Smoky, peppery, tender goat meat. The portions are generous too. This place never disappoints.

I had never tried Nigerian food before a friend dragged me here. The gizdodo completely changed my life. I've been back four times in two months. The staff are so warm and always make you feel welcome.

As a Yoruba person living in Tampa I was skeptical — but the amala, ewedu and gbegiri combo here is AUTHENTIC. They don't cut corners. The draw soup consistency is perfect. I've finally found my home away from home.

Came in curious about Nigerian cuisine and left a full convert. The seafood okro soup is incredible — rich, silky, and loaded with shrimp and crab. My only wish is they were open on Sundays!
